WHAT
Through in-home tasting classes, students learn about the art of wine appreciation in a relaxed, casual environment. Courses are listed on the Curriculum and Specialty Class pages. Clients are also invited to customize classes according to their personal interests.
WHERE
Classes can be held at any home in the 23 wards of the Tokyo metro area. Please note that if the location requires more than 45 minutes travel one-way, a travel surcharge will be added. Travel costs are based on fares on major train and bus lines.
WHEN
Classes may be scheduled for any afternoon or evening of the week, excluding major Japanese holidays and December 25. Please note the requested date may not be available due to volume of bookings. Special requests, such as brunch, may be accommodated.
WHO
Whether tasting wine for the first time or a seasoned connoisseur, or simply looking for a unique idea for a fun evening with friends, any and all levels of students are welcome. Up to six (6) adults of legal drinking age may participate per class.
HOW
Details are finalized at a consultation meeting prior to the reservation date. At this meeting, we will discuss the course content, any special requests by the client, and the wines to be served. Arrangements may also be made by phone or email.
Payment by cash or bank transfer are accepted. A 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking. Cancellations are accepted up to 48 hours in advance. Deposits are not refunded for cancellations made within 48 hours of the reservation date. Reservation dates may be changed with no penalty.
